Musical & Performing Academy offers focused, concrete professional training for those who intend to undertake an artistic career in the world of performing arts & entertainment through the study of 3 fundamental subjects (acting, singing and dancing) in accordance with the standards of international performance. The professional presence of MAS in the production of large national and international musicals, the continuous evolution of and research into training constitute the strong point of Musical & Performing Academy. The objective of the teaching is to improve individual skills in 3 fundamental disciplines.

ACCEPTANCE AT THE ACADEMY IS THROUGH AUDITION ONLY (auditions are free)

Training ranges from dance lessons (classical ballet, modern, jazz dancing, hip hop, contemporary, tip-tap) to the study of diction/phonetics, the history of Performing Arts, vocal technique, music theory/solfège. In the first year the technical bases are given foremost importance. The following years are for perfecting skills and large projects: performances, workshops with guest teachers and preparation for roles and/or auditions. An integral part of the study programme is the realization of shows, presentations and galas, which give students valuable stage experience aimed at acquiring the self assurance necessary for a successful professional début. The assistance of teachers with considerable experience in their respective disciplines and active professionally in addition to teaching, renders the training of the students open to new influences and the technical and stylistic needs of the market, which are in continuous evolution. Teaching in small groups and individual lessons mean direct contact between the teacher and student, which with respect and empathy aim to increase the artistic and individual potential of each student.

The multidisciplinary training leads to the formation of versatile, all-round performers capable of responding to the different needs of the entertainment business.
